Good evening from Idaho! As I sit here with my beloved Olde English Pocket Beagles, I'm excited to share my very first blog post with you.

Olde English Pocket Beagles are my passion. These sweet pups are loving, small, and easy to keep. They make wonderful family members with their four legs and big hearts. I have four adults currently: two neutered males, one intact male, and one female. I also have three adorable, three-month-old Olde English Pocket Beagle puppies for sale, born right here in my home on November 8, 2024.

While I'm not an expert on colors and genetics, I'm eager to learn. Two of the puppies may be chocolate tricolor. All three seem to have the 'butterfly nose,' an indicator of the 'hare-pi' gene. This is very new to me, and it seems that their sire, 'Whiskey,' has the butterfly nose as well. From the start, his nose seemed different, and now I know why. Stay tuned for more on the 'hare-pi' gene next time!

"Thank you to Shae Wilson, owner of the Olde English Pocket Beagle Registry, for helping me learn about the 'hare-pi' gene."
